El Celler de Can Roca is a restaurant based in Girona, Spain and is run by three brothers, Joan Roca (chef), Josep Roca (wine) and Jordi Roca (pastry chef). The restaurant ranks 4th in the San Pellegrino list of the world's best restaurants. Following our meal there in the week before Christmas (2010), we came away believing that Can Roca fully deserves its status as one of the world's best restaurants having delivered an exceptional meal combining great food and huge amounts of creativity.
