cheers Alan, I was really pleased with how it came out given that I was simply 'in the crowd'. God bless telephoto zooms and VR.

Very good photos.

I've heard various reviews, however, about the organisation of the event, mainly revolving around the words 'omnishambles', 'ludicrous', and 'populated almost exclusively by PR types'.

Any sense from your side how the event actually worked out in practice?

agreed, in practice, queues were large which was the principal problem, and that was unsatisfactory on many a level as i) we hate queuing and ii) it kept you away from the events. I left the queuing till later when they were shorter and chose to attend the events instead.

Hi TCC, My name is Jen and I was the set designer / builder for this event. I don't spose you have any photos of the sets (Main stage / restaurants/ noma/ research and the tower stage) that you could send me do you? As you mentioned the lighting from the venue was not the most camera friendly and I struggled to get any good shots! I am a small company and could do with a few nice photos of my jobs for my website. I would be really greatful if you could send me any? Many thanks,

Jen.

hi Jen,

sorry, I don't have any. I focused almost exclusively on the people. Would be happy to help you at future events. Will send you an email.
