Enjoying the blog as always.

Your photography has come on a lot.

What lens + body are you using at the moment out of interest?

I'm thinking of picking up a Canon 70D.

hi Stephen,

my general restaurant combo is a Nikon D800 body and the 50mm f1.4 lens which gives great low light performance and close enough focussing distance so you can focus on the food in front of you without having to push your chair back (or the food forward).

For the post above, I also popped a wide angle on at times to vary the look of the pictures and that variation I think is why the above post feels so different, the change in view making it feel less static.

Great blog. Really enjoy the photo's and the way the light is captured in most of them. Will be pulling up a chair and continue reading if thats okay with you :-)

Just found your blog, so far so good,good photography. Noticed Trishna is not on the star list, have they lost it? Our meal there was below par. Starter Desert good, main and coffee were not.
Will comment more as I read more
